"Friendly Owl"
WEEK 5
This owl is fun and cute! The owl has BIG round eyes, so it may help to trace a cup or a jar when making your circles. In fact, I think the bigger, the better! Have fun!

- Using pencil, start with 2 BIG circles for the eyes near the top of the paper.
- Add a small triangle for the beak and 2 more small triangles for the ears. Connect the ears with a curved line.
- Draw a big"U" shape for the body and add some wings.
- Now add some fun details like feet, a branch, or a moon. Make your owl more interesting by adding line patterns or texture. Be creative!
- Trace your owl with a black marker and add color with whatever you choose! Markers, colored pencils, crayon, or paint!
"Cat in the Hat Draw Along"
WEEK 4
I have been doing A LOT of reading with my daughter, recently. She has been especially loving all of the Dr. Seuss books, as most kids do! Let's keep this week simple and silly, with a step-by-step draw along of the Cat in the Hat!
I think you could use any materials to add color to this drawing: paint, crayons, markers, ANYTHING! :)

"Frog Prince"
WEEK 3
I have always been a huge fan of fairy tales. This artwork is inspired by the Brothers Grimm story, called the Frog Prince. There are many versions of this story, and even the Disney movie, the Princess and the Frog, is based off of this story. I hope you have fun drawing your Frog Prince or Princess!
TIP: If you don't have gold paint for the crown, you could color it yellow with crayons or regular paint! Have fun!

Now color your drawing with colors of your choice! For the sky, you could use light blue if it is daytime, or what if you colored the sky with some warm colors, to create a sunrise/sunset?! I would recommend coloring the sand with a light yellow, tan, or light brown. If you don't have a light brown or tan crayon, you can create that color by very gently coloring with a regular brown crayon! Viola!!
